Laura Brookins, Esq. Legal Counsel

Laura Brookins serves as Legal Counsel for Fried.Kilpatrick.Guinn (“FKG”). Prior to that role, she directed the legal research division of Fried & Associates from 2001 to 2005 and has extensive experience drafting legislation and rules for clients. Ms. Brookins was selected as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in the field of Administrative Law in 2009.

Ms. Brookins spent five years as a Compliance Analyst in the Legal and Regulatory Department for a national health plan. Additionally, she has served since 2001 as the Executive Director for a not-for-profit trade association. She has also served as “Of Counsel” with Crowe & Dunlevy law firm in Oklahoma City since 2006.

She received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Midwestern State University in 1994 and Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 1997. She is admitted to practice law in all Oklahoma state courts and the United States Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Ms. Brookins is also a registered lobbyist in Oklahoma.
