An Oklahoma registered lobbyist since 1999, Bryan Fried offers a unique knowledge base in government relations. Bryan was a founding partner of Fried Kilpatrick Guinn ("FKG") in 2005 and prior to that he worked with the firm Fried & Associates. In his eleven years as an Oklahoma lobbyist, Bryan has had a unique ability to work on behalf of Fortune 500 clients to non-profits.
Mr. Fried has helped pass some of the most high profile legislation over his eleven year career. He worked on the passage of the historic gaming legislation on behalf of the state's largest horse track. He also has worked extensively on innovative energy projects including drilling incentives for the nation's largest independent natural gas exploration company and coordinating the successful 2008 Boon Pickens Town Hall event in Oklahoma. Mr. Fried has also worked on almost all major health care initiatives over the past eleven years. As an Oklahoma lobbyist and government relations consultant Bryan has worked in depth on the state budget every year and on various tax incentive programs.
Prior to becoming an Oklahoma lobbyist and Government Relations Consultant, Bryan worked in Atlanta for the Atlanta Braves' baseball team. His responsibilities included sales and community relations, corporate client relations and serving as one of the Braves' spokesmen in the Atlanta area. He coordinated several community-based programs for the team. Mr. Fried also got the opportunity to work with former President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Roselyn Carter coordinating the Carter Center's fifteenth anniversary program with the Braves.
Bryan also served as an assistant to former Senate Pro Tempore Stratton Taylor, conducting various studies for the Pro Tempore and Senate Chief-of-Staff including a major study on the role state government plays in health care. He also served as a media assistant drafting news releases and columns. Mr. Fried graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 with a degree in Public Administration and received a Masters in Sports Sciences from the United States Sports Academy in 1997. Bryan currently serves on the Board of The Oklahoma Academy and Executive Council of the Jim Thorpe Association.
